[29.07.2003] Das Foto wurde einst als echt bzw. ernst zunehmendes Riesenskelett durch die Weiten des Internet geschickt. Erst kammen solche Hinweise aus Taiwan auf
Sollte von einer Ausgrabung in Chile, die angeblich streng geheim gehalten wird, herstammen.
Doch dann erwiese sich es doch als Fake.
Was es nun wirklich damit auf sich hat, erfuhr ich dann von einem treuen Leser per Mail !

Riesen und Zwerge gab es aber dennoch wirklich auf dieser Erde, nur verschwanden sie auf scheinbar so rätselhafte Art und Weise.

Dieser "riesige Riese" hier auf den Foto müßte wohl um die 7- 10 wenn nicht gar 12 -15 Meter Größe haben.
Und wurde wohl etwas aufgespießt, so kann man das seitlich Gehörn was in den Rippen stecken könnte, deuten.

Zu den einst vorgekommenen Riesen, handelte es sich um große Kerle von ca 5-7 Meter und sie sollten wohl zur Dinozeit gelbt haben, so war es vom göttlichen Bauplan aus eingerichtet. Figuren und Relikte die das sogar bewiesen können, gibt es ja auch schon, etwas in unseren Webseiten recherchieren, dann findet man es schon.

Nun ist es aber doch gelungen mehr über diese Ausgrabungen zu erfahren.

Ein paar fleisige Hände übersanden mir wertvolle Tips und Links, zum Original.
Das sich die original Seiten etwas in der Ladezeit schwertun, habe ich sie hier mit reingesetzt.

Ja da hat wohl ein findiger Computerexperte eine Animation gebastelt.

Grundstock war wohl dieses Menschenskeltt und das Skelett eines Amerikanischen Mastodons Mammut americanum für die digitale Umwandlung in einen Riesen Pate gestanden

On September 16, 2000, Steve Westin of our staff was a guest at the site outside Hyde Park, New York, where the Paleontological Research Institution and the Cornell Department of Geological Sciences are excavating the skeleton of a mastodon. He used two digital cameras to acquire images of the site, some of which are assembled here. Each of these images is actually a digital mosaic made in our Digital Photography Laboratory by carefully processing and assembling the individual camera images to provide a wider field of view than is available in a single image. Martin Berggren, head of the Digital Photography Laboratory, assisted in the stitching process.

Here is a view from the opposite side of the pond, standing near the Loziers' house. Some bones are clearly visible in the pit, as are the catwalk and dams constructed to aid excavation. You can also see three improvised acoustic enclosures built from plywood and foam to reduce pump noise; each of these has a pump behind it.

Here is an overview of the excavation site, showing the home of the landowners, Larry and Sheryl Lozier. Yes, that's their driveway where all those people are standing on the far side of the hole. The large muddy area is a spring-fed pond, so four pumps are used to bring down the water level to allow excavation. Even so, the hole was very wet and muddy.

Since the bones were to be removed from the pit that Saturday and Sunday, a cherry picker was present to aid in documenting their positions before removal. Here are a couple of views from the overhead bucket of the cherry picker.

This overview of the pit shows the catwalk and dams. The skeleton itself is mainly in the upper left quadrant of the image, with one tusk behind a dam below and to the left of the main skeleton. You can get some idea of the wet conditions; the green hose at the right center is perhaps 3 inches in diameter and is constantly pumping water out of the pit.

Finally, a detailed view of the skeleton itself. This find is interesting because of the completeness (at least 90% at last report), preservation state, and articulation of the skeleton. Articulation means that many of the bones are still in their original positions relative to each other.
At the top left, the pelvis is visible. At the bottom center of the image, several vertebrae are still articulated, as are several just to the right of top center. An array of ribs is visible between these two groups. At almost the exact center of the image, the lower jaw is visible, with most teeth intact. The skull, which was in good condition, has already been removed from the pit. To the right of the jaw, among the ribs, a hole in the mud is visible; this is actually a spring, spewing water into the pit continously.

At the lower right is an intact tusk behind a plywood dam and under a protective coating of mud. A major challenge is to allow this tusk to dry without having it shatter into fragments. In fact, the whole skeleton was periodically re-wetted with a garden hose to keep it from drying in an uncontrolled fashion.

In der Vergangenheit hat man schon öfter Riesenmenschenknochen gefunden, Türkei und in Höhlen von Frankreich, sie hätten riesenhafte Menschen von 4,5 bis 5 Meter ergeben, da aber die Wissenschaftler wo möglich Scheuklappen vor den Augen haben sollen oder sogar müssen, wurde dieses ignoriert und die Knochen wurden kurzer Hand in Sauriere eingebaut. So baut man sich die Darwin Lehre zu recht.
